Dominique de Pierpont is Belgian.
Living all her youth in Switzerland in Zurich, she took her first correspondence art-course in Paris. Discovery of the passion for drawing, shapes and perspectives.
Loving Ancient Art following numerous visits to museums, she did a 5-year internship in a painting restoration workshop with the well-known artist Marcel
Hastir (now deceased).
Learned oil painting at home and sketched a live model.
Later, attempts at watercolor, charcoal and the discovery of the pastel portrait.
Today she favors acrylic portraits and landscapes in soft yet colourful tones.
