Elmar is the initiator behind The Brussels Circle of Diplomatic Artists, Brucoda.
As a father of two and a trailing diplomatic spouse since 1988, he acknowledges the challenging dynamics of global rotational postings to Diplomats and their families.
His vision for this art initiative is therefore to encourage, support and facilitate fellow members of the diplomatic corps in counteracting these dynamics by creating an artistic bond between them and the wonderful people of Belgium.
